Startsystem for Swimming
The integrated solution in the TimeManger allows the ALGE-start system highest comfort at a moderate price. Connect the speaker system with one cable at the TimeManger TMS. The start signal and start order are given over the StartUnit SU2. The SU2 includes also a microphone to give oral commands to the swimmer. Further it is possible to connect a head set and communicate with the timing operator. It is also possible to connect the start FLASH. The FLASH allows a fair start for depth people and makes the manual timing much more accurate.
A start system for a pool with eight lanes needs for one side four active speakers SPA and four passive speakers SPP.
StartUnit SU2:
The SU2 is a device that is operated by the starter. It has a built-in microphone and a speech amplifier. With a small potentiometer the starter can adjust the feedback to the local requirements. The SU2 is connected with the cable reel KT199Z10 directly to the TMS or to the FLASH. It is possible to connect a headset Q34 or HS-1/D to communicate with the operaor of the timing system.

Active Speaker SPA:
The speaker system that is used by ALGE complies with the electrical safety rules of equipment in the pool area. The rechargeable battery of the SPA is permanently charged by the TMS, if the TMS is connected to mains.
The SPA is connected in series to the TMS with the cable set SWSPA8. This allows a simple cabling. At each active spaker it is possible to connect one passive speaker SPP.
