The anemometer ALGE WINDSPEED WS1 is approved from the IAAF (International Amateur Athletic Federation), DLV (German Athletic Federation), SLV (Swiss Athletic Federation), and ÖLV (Austrian Athletic Federation). The Anemometer measures with a wind propeller that is located in a tube. Mainly it is used for sprint disciplines (up to 200 m) and long jump.

If you use it together with the photofinish ALGE OPTIc you can control the Windspeed WS1 direct from the OPTIc. This means you do not need an extra person to operate the anemometer. All wind data are will be transferred automatically in the results list.

You can connect at the anemometer a display board GAZ4 that shows the wind speed for the public. For that use you need an interface adapter.
